Pochomil is located about 50km from Managua, but still easily accessible by roads, unlike Masachapa, Pochomil has nothing much to boast about. The only interesting spot here would be the beaches. A notable place to go is to the south of Pochomil, where you can find small waves and you can learn a bit of surfing. The only thing missing here is a school for surfing, despite the fact that surfing is one of the most important activities. Boards can be found for rent, although not many people do it.
