If you’re looking for one place in all of Nicaragua that truly caters to tourists then you need to head out to the Centro Turistico La Boquita, located just at the beginning of the sandy beaches on the Pacific Coast. La Boquita has lots of restaurants that serve up lots of beer and seafood and there are two major hotels that are perfect for tourists. The beach here is better for swimming than surfing but occasionally the breaks make peaks worth hitting. The hotels will rent out wakeboards and surfboards to guests and anyone else who visits the beach.
