This colonial town is a good place for photos, the views are beyond words. The town is well-kept, has delicious food, spectacular views of the volcano and better furniture than Catarina.

Don’t miss the Centro Ecoturistico Flor de Pochote, which is in Reserva Laguna de Apoyo, the lake and volcano views are fantastic.

Iglesia San Juan Bautista is an interesting place, known for the parties and folklore dances it hosts between May and June. The Casa de Cultura Zoila is just alongside the church, it has a folklore dance exhibition and pool and ping-pong tables that can be used by the public.
