If you’re looking for an excellent place to surf in Nicaragua, look no further than the Puerto Sandino. Buses go to and from Sandino on a regular basis and there are basic, but good hotels and restaurants for tourists. Don’t come to Puetro Sandino to swim; it’s not safe. The surfing, however, is some of the best in the country, with crystal blue, Hawaii-sized waves and pristine beaches that attract people from everywhere.
