This peaceful preserve and organic coffee finca is located at the edge of a cloud forest, 35km east of Matagalpa. The beauty of the area is well-known throughout the world, and it has also been listed in the Smithsonian magazine as the world’s best ecolodge. Most of the people come here either for short day trips just to relax or for hiking.

You can visit the Yucúl Genetic Reserve at Yucúl, which is a good place for seeing some plants and wildlife. You can get from San Ramón to Finca Esperanza Verde by bus or taxi.
