This small natural reserve, which is about 575 hectares in size, is not very popular among tourists, although it does deserve a visit. Located near Matagalpa, it does not allure tourists simply because it is not easy to access. You can only get here by tours through Selva Negra and Finca San Antonio. You can arrange for lodging as well with these tour operators.
