Click to verify Congratulations and welcome! You've finally found what you've been looking for. A travel guide that's been created for smart, free-thinking traveller like yourself. One of a kind, absolutely free!

Even though our travel guides are free to you, the user, Just Go Guides are packed with constantly updated, relevant information, thoroughly researched by locals and compiled by professionals. It includes exhaustive lists of hotels, restaurants, bars and many other establishments you”ll need on your travels, all objectively rated by you, the traveller.

The guide can be downloaded onto a range of mediums. Save it onto your iPod or mobile phone, or print it out and take it with you. It makes travelling light a much more realistic possibility, taking away the cumbersome weight (not to mention the cost) of old-fashioned travel guides. But, if you prefer, a printed book is available too.

The guide is available in four languages, which means that hotel and restaurant bookings can be made in your own language, no matter where in the world you are.

Have a friend who's travelling soon? They may want to know about these guides.

If you’re staying on the Isla de Ometepe and you want to find the best souvenirs or you need a base camp for taking one of the trails to the Volcán Concepción, there’s no better place to stop than the small town of Altagracia. There isn’t much in the way of sightseeing or activities in the town, but you can visit the Altagracia church or the Playa Pasao Real. Some of the hotels may be willing to rent you a mountain bike to make these trips a little easier, although you won’t want to take your mountain bike up the Concepción trail—it may be too bumpy and rocky. You can also create a custom trip to the Isla Grande—it’s mostly abandoned and no one makes regular trips there—to do some bird watching or have some quiet time away from the hordes of other tourists that are sure to be filling up Ometepe. In town, you’ll find a book exchange, a pharmacy and some of the best souvenirs on the island, as well as a bustling parque central.
