If you’re spending your days in Nicaragua at the beaches south of San Juan del Sur, you should head over to the Playa El Coco, a world-class beach. You’ll have to cross a river to get there and it’s usually okay for cars, but during the wet season you should call one of the resorts and ask before you attempt it.
