If you’re playing on the beaches north of San Juan del Sur and you need a place to stay—and you can afford something a little nicer and more expensive—you should head to Playa Marsella, just 8 kilometers north of San Juan del Sur. Playa Marsella isn’t the best place around to surf, but you can catch a decent break if you stick around a while.
