The guide can be downloaded onto a range of mediums. Save it onto your iPod or mobile phone, or print it out and take it with you. If you want to walk out to the Playa Dorada, Playa Escondido or Playa Rosada, the only way you’re going to get there is by being a guest at the Rancho Santana. It’s not exactly cheap but it’s clean and upscale, and if you’re sick of the local fare, you’ll find their restaurant to be a pleasant change, well worth the cost of staying at the private resort. You’ll be able to see the Jaro de Leche blowhole—a rock formation in the ocean that shoots water—from the resort and you’ll also have access to stores and cheap little restaurants as well as supply stores near the Santana Surf hammock stay.
