Another Ngöbe Buglé village in this region of Panama would be Bahía Honda. It is located in a bay with some houses and dwellings around that serve the tourists. Once very much focused on fishing and farming, the locals here are slowly switching to tourism as their main income. Since it’s quite equipped for tourism, you can find all the basic amenities around this village. There’s also a grocery shop that sells simple snacks and drinks.

Sightseeing
Many tour guides can be found here who show you around the jungles and handicraft centres. When you visit the handicraft centres, make sure you take some extra cash. Just across, there is a nice restaurant serving good chicken dishes. Don’t expect to find seafood dishes here, simply because they are banned due to the fish recovery program! Some of the fun things to do on this part of the island are kayaking and snorkelling. If you didn’t bring your gear you can rent some from the equipment centre.
