The protected area of Parque Nacional Omar Torrijos is full of rubber trees. There are some great hiking trails across the park that offer the chance to see some wildlife. The park isn't too far from the El Caño ruins. You can reach the park entrance by taking a bus from Panama City and jumping off at El Copé. The oldest town in Panama, Natá, is just 7km from the entrance.
