Playa Cambutal is a pleasant beach, a short way south of Tonosí. The Parque Nacional Cerro Hoya starts just to the west of this beach. There are some lovely stretches of soft, fine sand, dotted with pretty little coves. There are some nice spots to camp here but there aren’t really any amenities.
