Playa El Rompío is a Los Santos city beach like Playa Monagre but it is the cleaner and more beautiful of the two. Although most of the crowd on the beach consists of fishermen, children and locals but you can find some backpackers too. There are some seafood restaurants near the beach and accommodation is available in the town as well as near the beach. You can reach Playa El Rompío by taking a bus from Chitre.
