Playa Madrono is situated at a five minutes drive from Venado but the beach can only be reached by hiking for 30 minutes through fields and across rivers. There are plenty of signs on the roadside that will guide you towards the trail that will eventually cross the pastures and follow the river to bring you to the beach. There are no accommodations available at the beach but you can always camp at night and enjoy a picnic in the morning. Miles and miles of clear blue waters are a treat to watch and you can swim close to the shore or bask in the radiance of the morning sun. The sunset can be really spectacular and the ultimate reward.
