Just before you reach the Costa Rican border you will come across the pleasant little town of Las Palmas. The town is mainly known for the oranges that are grown in this area but it’s also a nice place for tourists to stop off on their journey across the border.

Sightseeing
On the way into town there is a beautiful waterfall that has its own swimming hole. If you fancy a cool dip or maybe you’re looking for a place to have a picnic then this waterfall is a good place to stop.
