South of La Mesa is the deep, lush and fertile valley, where you’ll find the small town of Soná. The road into town is very rough and you’ll probably need a four-wheel drive to get there. There’s not really much of interest in town, but the surrounding slopes are covered in emerald green forests, which makes for some good hiking.
