Adícora is a small town on the eastern coast of Paraguaná. It boasts a pretty beach, excellent opportunities for windsurfing and kitesurfing, and some well-preserved heritage structures in 18th century architectural style.
Adícora also offers an economical range of accommodations and restaurants. All these features combined together have made Adícora the most popular destination for tourists on the peninsula.
History and Culture
The town was founded on a small headland protruding into the sea, and was used by Compania Guipuzcoana as one of its trading bases in the 18th century bringing prosperity for the town.
Sightseeing
As you amble the streets you will be able to spot Dutch-Caribbean houses in bright colours, which are characterized by barred windows, and topped with decorated roofs.
