Though Sierra de San Luis is spread towards the south of the arid Coro coastal region, the place delightfully offers a balmy climate, lush forest teeming with birds, and many interesting exploration walking tracks to explore the natural woodlands. Surrounding this region are wonderfully scenic towns, idyllic waterfalls, close to two dozen caves, and more than twelve deep vertical holes in the ground locally called 'Sima’.
