Chichiriviche is the gateway to the Parque Nacional Morrocoy, from the north. It also acts as a gateway to half a dozen cays in the neighbourhood. This town is smaller than Tucacas and quite unattractive, with nothing much apart from the shore line, which is always crowded with colourful fishing boats.

Getting there
Transportation is by boats, which are easily found. You can enter the town from the west, along the access road, which passes over a causeway through rich mangrove swamps.
