Salto Aponguao is one of the most wonderful and picturesque waterfalls in the Gran Sabana. The waterfall is about 105metres high, and during rains, it is not just more spectacular but also becomes 80m wide. However, it is a photographer's delight even during the other seasons. Salto Aponguao is also known by its Indian name of Chinak-Meru (where Meru means waterfall in the Pemon language). The waterfall comes highly recommended and should not be missed!
