Playa Puerto Cruz is located near Pedro Gonzalez on Isla Margarita. This beach is almost 1km long, with its white sands and cold water that is the most intense colour, it is without a doubt the most spectacular beach of the island. Puerto Cruz is a haven to enjoy. It is located on the northern side of the island and it is the main beach for a large tourist complex, although, as yet, it's not too overdeveloped. Puerto Cruz has been the used for the making of numerous commercial films because of the long, white, sandy beach. Nearby there is a lighthouse called Punta Zaragoza. It's mounted on top of one of the two hills enclosing the Island.
