Named after its founder in 1937, this spectacular park has something to offer and delight everyone and is an absolute must for bird watchers and hikers. But for those wishing to take things a little easier, the amazing beaches will not disappoint. Packed with history, the many colonial towns will be of immense interest to the architect buff. Nearby Puerto Colombia has a very laid back vibe and caters very well to back packers.

Getting there
