General Information



Santa Fé is the capital city of province of Santa Fé. It sits in north-eastern Argentina, near the junction of the Paraná and Salado rivers. Santa Fé is the commercial and transportation centre for a rich agricultural area that produces grain, vegetable oils and meats. The city is the seat of the Catholic University of Santa Fé, the National University of the Littoral, several museums and a number of buildings erected during colonial times.

There is an information kiosk at the bus station.

Sightseeing
Visit the Granja la Esmeralda farm zoo. The animals have much larger areas to wonder around in than the normal caged zoo. It makes for a pleasant afternoon wandering around and you won't leave feeling guilty or upset for the animals, they seem happy!

Getting there
There are direct buses from Paraná, Córdoba, Posadas, Corrientes, Resistencia and many other provincial capitals.
