The small mountain village of Villa General Belgrano is located in the lush green valley of Calamuchita in the Province of C?rdoba. It is named after the creator of the Argentine flag. The village was founded in 1930 and its alpine environment attracted immigrants from Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Austria. Villa General Belgrano is made up of red-roofed, wood-frame homes, micro breweries, and pastry and chocolate shops which give it the unique style that characterizes it today.

Sightseeing
The village survives on a steady flow of tourists with an appetite for German delicacies like apple strudel, leberwurst and spätzle. Oktoberfest here is hailed as the third-most important Oktoberfest site after Munich and Blumenau in Brazil.
