General Information

This beautiful 40,700-hectare national park extends beyond the borders of two countries, and in fact, it is a collaboration between the two countries. It houses the largest single forest in the region, and is known for the plant and animal species living here, besides the three indigenous tribes. The place is unique not only because of this biodiversity, but also because of its variety of altitudes and the beautiful sights. The amount of animals and plants you can find is just so impressive. There are some archaeological sites that you can visit too, although there's nothing much to see.

Getting there
Getting here is easy, try the taxi or bus from Changuinola.
